SG Americas Securities LLC has significantly reduced its investment in the iShares Core S&P Mid-Cap ETF (NYSEARCA:IJH) during the third quarter of the year. According to the firm’s latest filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), it lowered its stake by an impressive 84.4%. Following this reduction, SG Americas Securities now holds 18,485 shares of the ETF, after selling off 99,654 shares.

As of the most recent filing, SG Americas Securities LLC’s remaining holdings in the iShares Core S&P Mid-Cap ETF are valued at approximately $1.15 million. This adjustment in their investment strategy reflects the company’s ongoing review and response to market conditions.

Additionally, other institutional investors have also made moves regarding their positions in the iShares Core S&P Mid-Cap ETF. Northwestern Mutual Wealth Management Co. increased its stake in the ETF by 3.3% during the second quarter, bringing its total shares owned to approximately 100,490,787, valued at around $5.88 billion after acquiring an additional 3,196,592 shares.

Envestnet Asset Management Inc. has raised its investment in the ETF by 83.0%, now owning 24,275,880 shares worth approximately $1.42 billion after purchasing 11,011,385 additional shares during the previous quarter. Meanwhile, Raymond James & Associates reported a 1.2% increase in its stake, now having 18,872,281 shares valued at around $1.1 billion after acquiring 216,899 more shares in the recent quarter.
