Apple Reports Impressive Q4 2024 Results with Record Revenue and iPhone Sales

Apple has unveiled its fiscal Q4 2024 financial results, showcasing a remarkable revenue of $94.9 billion, which marks a 6% increase compared to the previous year. This growth is primarily attributed to strong sales of its latest products, including the new iPhone 16, Apple Watch Series 10, and AirPods 4.

The breakdown of Apple's revenue reveals that $46.2 billion came from iPhone sales. The company's Mac division contributed $7.4 billion, while the iPad generated $7 billion in revenue. Additionally, wearables, home, and accessories brought in $9 billion. Apple's services revenue also reached a record high of $25 billion, reflecting a 12% increase year-over-year.

CEO Tim Cook expressed his excitement about the record revenue, stating, "Today, Apple is reporting a new September quarter revenue record of $94.9 billion, up 6 percent from a year ago. During the quarter, we were thrilled to announce our best products yet, including the iPhone 16 lineup, Apple Watch Series 10, AirPods 4, and remarkable features for hearing health and sleep apnea detection. We also launched new privacy standards with Apple Intelligence just in time for the holiday season."

Financial Highlights and Shareholder Returns

CFO Luca Maestri commented on the financial performance, stating, "Our record business performance during the September quarter drove nearly $27 billion in operating cash flow, enabling us to return over $29 billion to our shareholders. We are very pleased that our active installed base of devices has reached an all-time high across all products and geographic regions, thanks to the high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty we continue to experience."
